"Generally nice, neat and clean. Coffee and tea facilities in the room (no fridge/mini-bar). The street was a bit noisy but to be expected for the good, central location. The room was decorated nicely, but ours was very small (ie. the bathroom door could only open halfway before it hit the bed) - i'm sure it must have been the smallest room in the hotel." (107202115)
Good location. Very easy access to airport. Good value relative to other options.
Room was a bit too small and the shower was not the best. It would have been nice to have a sheet/light blanket as the duvet was a bit too much for the summer nights.

"It served its purpose, it was cheap enough and reasonably central." (97448664)
Ease of booking and general communication.
Poorly maintained and decorated.

Bed was comfortable and room was nicely appointed. Location was good.
Most imprtantly, the rudeness and un-responsoviness of staff - to us and to other guests at the hotel. Mischarged my credit card for more than the advertised price, did not look up and greet ANYONE who came into or was leaving the hotel that we saw, and when we had the problem with the credit card, they were most unapologetic and unhlepful. I would never stay at this hotel again.

"Instructions on how to find the hotel would have been extremely useful. A map showing the local area does not really suffice considering the extent of the one way systems in the area. The tv had only 3 channels available, only one of which was free from interference. Having attended a course all day and coming back to hotel tired, relaxing in the evening is very important. When tea and coffee are made available in the rooms, one would expect that milk of some description would also be available without having to ask for it." (97282136)
Convenient to where we were attending courses.
Lack of unsafe parking, only 3 television channels available.

"Would like to have known that a room at the front of the hotel does not have double glazed windows. Otherwise an excellent location, close to shops and theatres/concert hall, with comfortable bed and let down by the lack of double glazing. Very reasonably priced for such a central location. Would recommend but caution against the noise which did not let up during the night. Have booked many hotels online. Maybe missed a trick here and did not ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Looks like upgrading is in progress, so maybe double glazing will be carried out." (3305455722)
Very convenient central location, close to theatre/concert hall. Also close to bus stops, etc. Good comfortable bed, well decorated room, good carpet and bed linen.
Very noisy at night (traffic). Gap under door so smoke from nearby smokers penetrated.

it was close to the center of the city. the catered breakfeast was late closing. that the two rooms booked were close to each other. there was someone on the door 24hours to let us in.
the window in our bedroom didnt not open. the lock on the door was a bit stiff and if not locked when in the room other people could entre the room while other rooms the doors could not be opened from the outside without a key.

"The staircase and corridors were tired looking but the rooms were comfortable. The TV had no remote control and was only showing Sky TV. Breakfast was very poor - the breakfast room was very basic, the continental selection was minimal, we had to ask for milk, spoons, fruit, cereal and bread. Unfortunately, the cereal had run out, the fresh fruit had run out and we had to use a glass for milk for our tea and a dessert spoon for stirring it! Full Irish breakfast consisted of 1 small sausage, 1 slice of bacon, 1 egg, half a raw tomato and 1 cold hash brown - very average." (3304148448)
Reception staff were very friendly. The bedroom was clean and warm.

"This is a well situated hotel close to the centre of Dublin with friendly staff. Our room was extremely small with lots of noise from the street, but the bathroom was nicely refurbished. All in all I would have expected a bit more for what we paid." (2697304)
The central location and the friendly staff
Double glazing in windows to keep traffic noise out. The size of our room was extremely small

"I booked the hotel because of the advertised car park which on arrival was unavailable but later on a space was found in an area which I would not consider a car park but at least the car was off the road. Having to feed the parking meters at 7am would have been unacceptable. Staff were accomodating though.Location was good apart from that and rooms were clean if not a bit basic." (2758364)

"The accommodation is in dire need of an upgrade and refurbishment. For example, the building needs to be internally redecorated throughout and the bed was old and uncomfortable resulting in a poor night's sleep. The breakfast was a poor example of an Irish cooked breakfast." (1442078)
location clean warm

"The room while recently decorated in the bedroom left the bathroom (and I use the term bathroom loosely) untouched and several patches of mould were evident. In the ensuite itself the shower door was difficult to open and in general was cramped. The extractor fan whilst effective at clearing steam was excessively noisy and prohibited any nocturnal visits as being keyed to the same switch as the light, turning the light on to use the toilet would have awoken the entire hotel. The bed was clean but far too hard for a restful nights sleep as were the pillows. And by far the most annoying factor the rooms over look a busy main road and have no double glazing only what appear to be the original period frames. Road noise was disturbing until quite late that evening and after an already uncomfortable and disturbed night I was awoken before 6am by the road sweepers and gradually building traffic noise."
